iPad: Customize Lock Screen
(Before doing any of this, Make sure you have iPadOS 17 or later installed)
In iPadOS 17, Apple added the ability to customize your iPad's lock screen, and it's one of the easiest ways to help the tablet reflect your style. You can change the font, and the wallpaper, and even add a few widgets to keep important information available at a glance.
How to: Wake up your iPad, unlock it, then press and hold on the lock screen. If you've used an iPhone in the past, you know exactly what to do next. Tap the "Customize" button or the new wallpaper button and begin tweaking the lock screen to your liking. To add widgets, click the, “Add Widgets” button on the side or underneath the time (based on which way your iPad is turned). Scroll through the different apps. Once you’ve found an app you’d like to have as a widget, click on it and choose the style/size you want.
If you want a Tech Tip on a different device (only Apple) or want a different tip of your choice write a comment and I will try to make it happen.
